The passion for confectionery has always occupied a very important part of my life.
In my mother’s kitchen there was always a cake in the oven, whether it was for the holidays, or for any dessert. From a very young age I always wanted to make cakes like her, with the same flavor and love with which she made them, but incorporating new decoration and personalization techniques to adapt them to our times.
Now, my passion has become my way of life. Homemade and natural baking is the only way I have always conceived it, and it will continue to be so at Lydia Cakes.
The “Vall dels Alcalans”, the area where I live and work, allows me to use local products to increase the quality and authenticity of my recipes, always being in direct contact with local farmers, beekeepers and cooperatives that are in charge of supplying the main ingredients for The cakes.
